Founded 40 years ago (1978), Woodthorpe Kart Club is a family orientated club. Our objectives are to promote fair and competitive karting competitions and social events within a Safe, Friendly and Fun environment and to encourage all karters (beginner or experienced) to improve their skills. Our officials hold a wealth of experience in Motorsports and are always available to assist and advise. At each meeting, we also have the full benefit of an on-site paramedic.

 

Being independent we are able to keep costs to a minimum in what is an inherently expensive pastime. Drivers do NOT need a license to compete but will require an AMB/Mylaps transponder which the club has a limited number available for hire.

 

Woodthorpe Kart Club is purely an Independent Kart Racing Club(I.K.R) for Kart Owners, We do NOT hire out karts.
